Omnisend provides a straightforward method to send test emails, allowing you to preview and perfect your messages before they reach your audience. Follow this step-by-step guide to send a test email in Omnisend:

1. Access Your Automation Workflow

  • Log in to your Omnisend account.

  • Navigate to the Automation tab located in the main menu.

  • Select the specific automation workflow containing the email you wish to test.

2. Select the Email for Testing

  • Within the chosen automation, locate the email you intend to test.

  • Click on the email block to open its settings.

3. Send a Test Email

  • Scroll down to find the "Send Test Email" option.

  • Click on "Send Test Email".

  • Enter the email address where you want to receive the test message.

  • Click "Send" to dispatch the test email.

By following these steps, you can verify the design, content, and functionality of your emails, ensuring they meet your standards before launching your campaign.

Note: Test emails are sent through Omnisend's shared domain, even if you've set up a custom domain. The subject line of test emails is marked with [Preview] to distinguish them from live campaigns.
