Creating an API Project Within FedEx

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to create an API project in FedEx, obtain the production key, and integrate it into your system. The Track API helps you seamlessly monitor shipments and provide real-time tracking updates for your customers.

Steps to Create an API Project in FedEx

1. Initiate the Project

1. Log in to your FedEx Developer Account.

2. Navigate to My Projects.

3. Click on Create API Project.

4. Select the option:

   • “Ships with FedEx and needs to integrate FedEx APIs into the system.”

5. Click Next.

6. Choose “Track API” as the desired API.

7. Click Next.

8. Assign a name to your project.

9. Select your country and click Next.

10. Accept the terms by checking the boxes.

11. Click Create.

Steps to Obtain the Production Key

1. Navigate to the Production Key section in your project.

2. Assign a Name: Provide a name for your production key.

3. Add Your Shipping Account:

   • If your account is already added, select it and click Next.

   • For multiple accounts, use the search option to find and select the desired one.

4. Add a New Shipping Account (if needed):

   • Click Add Shipping Account.

   • Enter the required details and click Next.

5. Select the added account and click Next.

6. Copy Your Credentials:

   • Note down the Key and the API Secret Key.

   • Important: The secret key is revealed only once, so ensure you copy it correctly.

7. Send the key and API secret key to support@lateshipment.com for integration.
