Setting Up Insurance in Your LateShipment Account

This step-by-step guide walks you through setting up shipping insurance in your LateShipment.com account by connecting it with your Shopify store. Follow these instructions to ensure seamless integration and insurance management for your shipments.

Steps to Set Up Shipping Insurance

1. Access Shipping Insurance at LateShipment.com

1. Log in to your LateShipment.com account.

2. Navigate to Shipping Insurance from the dashboard.

3. Under Select Store, choose your eCommerce platform.

                    In this guide, we are using Shopify.

2. Configure the App in Shopify

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin account.

2. Go to Settings > Apps and Sales Channels.

3. Select Develop Apps.

4. Create a New App:

   • Click Create an App.

   • Name the app “Late Shipment” and click Create App.
     
     

5. Set Admin API Permissions:

   • In the new window, click on Configure Admin API Scopes.

   • Assign the following permissions:

     • Read Access

     • Prod X

     • Broad X
       
       

6. Grant Access to Orders:

   • Enable access for:

     • Orders

     • Assigned Fulfillment Orders

     • Merchant Managed Fulfillment Orders

     • Third-Party Fulfillment Orders.

Click Save to confirm the settings.

3. Install and Retrieve API Credentials

1. Click on Install App to install the newly created app.

2. Reveal the Admin API Access Token:

   • Click Reveal Token Once and copy the token.

3. Go back to your LateShipment.com account and paste the copied Admin API Access Token.

4. Retrieve Additional Keys:

   • In your Shopify account, scroll down to find the API Key and API Secret Key.

   • Copy these credentials and paste them into your LateShipment.com account.

4. Finalize Store Integration

1. Copy your Store URL from your Shopify account.

2. Return to the LateShipment.com account and paste the Store URL into the designated field.

3. Click Submit to complete the integration.
